ANTICRACY

( ROMA - ITALY )

Formed in Rome, Italy in 2001 by founder member and music-producer ( DAVIDE MOGGIA ). Who picked the name ANTICRACY from a strange hand-written book he found in Sofia way back in July'97. After 9 years of producing, and releasing an impressive string of 12" eps for various underground labels such as Longterm Damage / Scene-Missing / Hydrophonic Records / Stipe / Idroscalo Dischi/ Skyotaenia . As a prooject ANTICRACY has also appeared and contributed to countless compilations, and his still best rembered to all URBCOM fans via the compilation " Recreation X | Display Disobey | with his underground post-Aphex Twin-techno-glitch classic " Uso Derog-edit " released via URBCOM in 2006.

After meeting ( DAVIDE MOGGIA ) between 2001-2001 down in London via a mutual friend of ours at the time.We here at URBCOM have remained good friends / allies over the years, and have always thought the music of ANTICRACY not only to be innovative and very intresting but also of great quality and belive it derseves to be heard by as many people. Which is why URBCOM are pleased to announce a forthcoming split EP with ANTICRACY VS AWAX due to be released later in 2010 as a download limited-edition web-release.Which showcases his own fine-tuned individual-style of IDM, electronica with a new track title, and is currently busy with his brand new side-project project KTEIS PRODUCTIONS. Very different to his work with ANTICRACY this new project fuses a more ambient and moody direction and features some wonderful female vocals over some down-temps trip-hop beats mixed with experimental sounds and piano.
